Connecting Your Shopify Store
Connect your Shopify store to TrolleyChat in just a few clicks.
Steps
- Go to Inbox Settings → Integrations
- Click Connect Shopify
- Enter your Shopify store URL (e.g.,
your-store.myshopify.com) - You'll be redirected to Shopify to approve the connection
- Click Install on the Shopify authorization page
- You'll be redirected back to TrolleyChat — you're all set

You need to be a Shopify store admin to authorize the connection.
What TrolleyChat Can Access
TrolleyChat only requests the permissions it needs:

| Customers | Link chat visitors to their Shopify customer profiles |
TrolleyChat only reads data from your store — it never modifies products, orders, or customer records.
After Connecting
Once connected:
- Your product catalog syncs automatically
- The AI can search products and look up orders immediately
- When a customer provides their email, TrolleyChat links them to their Shopify profile
Managing the Connection
- Reconnect — if something breaks, you can reconnect from Inbox Settings → Integrations
- Disconnect — remove the Shopify connection at any time from the same page
Troubleshooting
Connection fails
- Make sure you're logged in as a Shopify store admin
- Double-check your store URL
- Try clearing your browser cookies and connecting again
Products not showing up
- Make sure the connection is active in Inbox Settings → Integrations
- Check that your products are published (draft products won't appear)
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting
