AI Training

AI Training teaches your AI assistant about your product catalog. Instead of manually telling the AI what you sell, it scans your products and learns automatically.

How It Works

  1. TrolleyChat scans your product catalog
  2. It learns what kind of store you run, what categories you carry, and what your price ranges are
  3. The AI uses this knowledge to better understand customer questions and recommend the right products

Running a Scan

  1. Go to Inbox Settings → AI Training
  2. Click Scan Products
  3. The scan takes just a few seconds
  4. Review the results to see what the AI learned

You can run a new scan anytime your catalog changes significantly — new product lines, seasonal updates, etc.

What the AI Learns

After scanning, the AI understands:

  • What you sell — your store type and product categories
  • Your product vocabulary — the terms customers use when searching for your products
  • Your price ranges — so it can reference pricing appropriately in conversations

AI Personality

You can also customize how the AI talks to your customers:

  • Store description — tell the AI about your business
  • Brand voice — set the tone (friendly, professional, casual, etc.)
  • Selling points — highlight what makes your store special
  • Custom instructions — add any specific rules you want the AI to follow

These settings make sure every AI response sounds like it's coming from your team.

When to Rescan

We recommend running a new scan after:

  • Adding new product categories
  • Major inventory changes
  • Seasonal catalog updates
