Live Visitors
See who's browsing your website right now and start conversations with them.
What You See
The Live page shows every active visitor on your site:
- Name — identified visitors show their name; anonymous visitors show a visitor ID
- Current page — what they're looking at right now
- Time on site — how long they've been browsing
- Device — desktop or mobile
- Location — where they're visiting from (when available)
Visitor Details
Click on any visitor to see more:
- Pages they've visited during this session
- Where they came from (Google, social media, direct, etc.)
- Whether they've chatted with you before
Starting a Conversation
See a visitor browsing your site? You can reach out to them:
- Click Start Chat on their visitor card
- Write a message
- The visitor sees your message in the chat widget on their screen
Viewing Existing Conversations
If a visitor already has a conversation going:
- Click View Conversation on their card
- You'll go straight to their conversation in the dashboard
Filtering & Sorting
- Filter by status — all visitors, currently chatting, or just browsing
- Filter by device — desktop or mobile
- Sort by — most recent activity or longest time on site
Privacy
Visitor tracking respects your customers' privacy:
- You can enable or disable tracking per inbox
- Only basic browsing data is collected
- Visitors can opt out through cookie preferences
